Incline Impact Testers

Incline Impact testers are used to simulate the handling of crates, palletized loads, and rail car carriers. Several sizes are available for testing palletized loads and single products up to 12,000 lbs. (5,454 kg). Our complete line of impact recording instrumentation will also provide you with the qualitative results and documentation required to substantiate the perfomance of your product or packaged system.

Features

• L.A.B. offers standard models of 400, 1,000, 2,000, 4,000, 6,000 and 8,000 pounds. Extended payloads up to 12,000 pounds available.
• Backstops (impact walls) range from 4 x 4 feet up to 10 x 10 feet.
• Dolly sizes of 36 x 30 inches up to 108 x 108 inches
• Maximum velocity between 6 or 7 mph depending on model (see product data sheet)
• Optional Velocity Meter 1000VM available

1000VM Velocity Meter (required for ISTA test procedures)

• Product velocity can be displayed in either English or Metric units
• Optical gate system measures velocity of guided moving objects such as shock machine carriages, horizontal and incline impact testers, cushion testers etc.
• System consists of digital readout timing device, optical gate and trigger blade
• Special mounting bracket design specific to each application. Customer specify model if ordering for existing unit
